Teaser Trailer: Sneak Peek At My Barely Secret Project!
Brace yourselves! (Not really.)
Some (perhaps, a lot) of you may recognise what this is (and please, let me know if you do). This project is an old but recently acquired kit. It is being kept "off the grid" because I have spontaneously chosen to attempt to knock it out in time for our club's end-of-year/Christmas function, which includes an informal popular vote competition. So in order to get a competitive edge I am going with the whole "element of surprise" thing. (You've probably seen some of my pictures by now,- I can't rely solely on my modelling skills for a competitive edge!)
Anyway, I thought I would share this with you because a) for once, I have photo-documented every step and b) I haven't completely messed it up... yet! But it's early days...
Please keep in mind I have just started this project, hence there is not a lot to see. Also, if I haven't posted pictures of the completed project by Christmas you can pretty much assume we didn't make the deadline.

Not bad,- considering I was going for a rusty, weathered, well-used slab of solid metal. What you reckon?
